US-based fried chicken restaurant chain Chester's Chicken has announced the re-launch of its fried chicken sandwich across all its locations in the country.

The chain noted that the sandwich will feature a new bun and sauce and is claimed to be juicier, crispier and more flavourful.

Chester's Chicken culinary innovation director Scott Richard said: “We're constantly looking at ways to innovate and make our menu even better. We made all the right tweaks to perfect our new fried chicken sandwich and the taste is a knockout we know guests will crave.”

The company noted that its new fried chicken sandwich is prepared using a specially marinated and double-breaded whole breast fillet. It is topped with Chester's bold and tangy sauce and crunchy crinkle-cut dill pickles on Martin's potato roll.

Chester's Chicken has been diversifying its menu since its inception in 1965.

In 2019, the brand launched its original fried chicken sandwich, of which it sold three million in 2022.

Chester’s Chicken currently operates more than 1,200 restaurants across the US and Canada.

Its menu includes bone-in chicken, super tenders, bites, sandwiches, potato wedges, dipping sauces and desserts.
