American fast-food restaurant chain Chick-fil-A is set to bolster its presence in the state of Missouri by opening a new restaurant in Springfield.
Located at 2355 North Glenstone Avenue, the outlet will open on 18 January 2024.
The restaurant will be owned and operated by Brian Heberlie and will offer drive-thru, dine-in and carry-out options.
Heberlie also manages Chick-fil-A locations at Sunshine and Campbell.
The opening will create 100 full and part-time jobs.
The new venue will offer guests the original Chick-fil-A Chicken Sandwich, known for its whole, boneless breast of chicken without added fillers, breaded and pressure-cooked in fully-refined peanut oil.
Chick-fil-A is one of the first companies in the sector to eliminate chicken raised with antibiotics.
Heberlie said: “The opportunity to serve more guests in the community, and provide further growth for our team members, is one I could not pass up.
“My team members and I find comfort and purpose in serving our guests, and I’m excited to provide a space where more of our neighbours in the Springfield community can create many wonderful memories.”
In January 2024 Chick-fil-A launched a new beverage line-up featuring mango and passion fruit flavours.
The new range includes three variants: Mango Passion Lemonade, Mango Passion Iced Tea and Mango Passion Frosted Lemonade.
Mango Passion Lemonade combines the flavours of mango and passion fruit to create a tropical take on the traditional Chick-fil-A lemonade.
The Mango Passion Iced Tea offers a daily brewed blend of tea leaves with the same fruity infusion while the Mango Passion Frosted Lemonade combines the chain’s signature Icedream dessert with lemonade and fruit flavours.
Chick-fil-A also announced plans to relaunch the Mango Passion Sunjoy drink, which merges with the chain’s Sunjoy, a lemonade and sweet tea combination, and adds mango and passion fruit.
