American fast-casual restaurant chain Chicken Salad Chick is set to open a new Kentucky location in Murray on 18 June 2024.
The restaurant, located at 506 North 12th Street in the Olympic Plaza shopping centre, will feature a large kitchen designed to handle catering orders.
The Murray outlet will offer lunch and dinner in a spacious dining area, with services comprising traditional catering, boxed lunches, delivery and kerbside pick-up.
It will be the ninth Chicken Salad Chick location in Kentucky and the second for TKAB Chick, a franchisee company led by business partners Katie Englert and Tony Englert.
The duo, who hail from Kentucky, launched their first Chicken Salad Chick restaurant in Paducah in 2021.
Katie Englert said: “We love what we do and are so excited to now be bringing this beloved brand to another part of our home state.
“Murray is part of the heartbeat of Western Kentucky and has its own vibe. We're looking forward to serving our neighbours in the community, as well as students from Murray State – many are loyal Chick fans already!”
In April 2024, the brand announced the opening of a Kentucky outlet in St Matthews at 7900 Shelbyville Road, the Oxmoor Center.
It serves the Louisville area and operates six days a week from Monday to Saturday, 10am to 8pm.
In January 2024, the company revealed plans for a significant expansion in Texas. It signed four multi-unit franchise agreements to launch 21 new restaurants in the Lone Star State by 2028, adding to the existing 30.
