Chicken Salad Chick to open new restaurant in Ocean Springs, Mississippi

It would be the brand’s third location along the Mississippi Gulf Coast.

US-based fast casual chicken salad restaurant concept Chicken Salad Chick is set to open a new restaurant in Ocean Springs, Mississippi.

The new location will open on 1 November 2023. It will be the brand’s third location along the Mississippi Gulf Coast.

Located at 2107-A Bienville Boulevard between the hospital and downtown, the Chicken Salad Chick Ocean Springs location will have a drive-through and outdoor patio.

As part of the opening celebrations, Chicken Salad Chick will offer the first 100 guests that morning free chicken salad for a year.

The Ocean Springs restaurant location is owned and operated by Hudson Sandefur and Bruce Ratcliffe of Spring City Chick.

Sandefur currently owns five Chicken Salad Chick restaurants in Arkansas and Tennessee, as well as multiple Zaxby's restaurants throughout the Gulf Coast region.

Meanwhile, Ratcliffe began his career in restaurant management and spent 13 years overseeing Zaxby's sites in Baldwin County, Alabama.

Ratcliffe said: “We could not be more excited to have finally found a location in the City of Discovery and continue bringing Chicken Salad Chick to fans along the Mississippi Gulf Coast. “

“Ocean Springs is a beautiful town that has the exact combination of class, sass and fun we try to bring wherever we go. We can't wait to start serving our freshly made chicken salad flavours to the wonderful people of this community.”

Recently, Chicken Salad Chick announced the opening of its third location in Greater Columbus, Ohio.
