US-based fast-casual restaurant chain Chicken Salad Chick is expanding its presence in Texas with the opening of its first location in Midland County on 2 October 2024.
Located at 200 Spring Park Drive in the Ally Village shopping centre, the new restaurant will be the 34th Chicken Salad Chick restaurant in the state.
Chicken Salad Chick Midland is the entrepreneurial venture of Liz Sevcik and her daughter Alexis Thompson.
Thompson said: “We decided to become Chicken Salad Chick franchise owners not only because of the food, but because of what the brand represents.
“My mom and I were truly inspired by the story of the founder, Stacy Brown, and the brand's mission to spread joy, enrich lives and serve others.'”
The Midland location is the first in a series of planned expansions, with additional restaurants anticipated in Odessa and San Angelo.
The Midland outlet offers indoor and outdoor patio seating, take-out, kerbside pickup, third-party delivery and catering services.
Its menu will include chicken salad flavours, side salads, gourmet soups, signature sandwiches and desserts.
As part of the opening celebrations on 2 October, Chicken Salad Chick Midland County venue will offer the first 100 guests in the line a free chicken salad for a year.
Chicken Salad Chick president and CEO Scott Deviney said: “We're excited to bring Chicken Salad Chick's delicious flavours to Midland County.
“Midland is a rapidly growing, health-conscious community, and we're excited to become a part of it. We believe Chicken Salad Chick has a lot to offer to the community and that there are incredible catering opportunities there.
“We look forward to working with more franchise owners like Alexis and Liz who embody our values and want to share our delicious menu items with their community. We can't wait to see both new and familiar faces at our grand opening."
In September 2024, Chicken Salad Chick announced that it would open a new restaurant in Oklahoma City on 1 October.
