Chicken Salad Chick has signed a three-unit agreement to open new stores in the cities of Midland, Odessa and San Angelo in Texas, US, over the next three years.
The three-unit deal was signed with mother-daughter duo Liz Sevcik and Alexis Thompson and marks the brand's expansion into West Texas.
Sevcik said: “Along with the one-of-a-kind taste, the brand's mission and story solidified our decision to invest in Chicken Salad Chick.
“We strive to bring joy and enrich lives personally, so it only made sense to choose this brand and help continue the mission. We are beyond grateful to run this operation as a family business and bring Chicken Salad Chick to the community.”
The first of the three locations is scheduled to open in Midland next year, with two more restaurants scheduled to open every year until 2026.
The new development agreement adds to the company’s existing state-wide footprint, which boasts 30 open locations in central and south Texas.
Chicken Salad Chick CEO Scott Deviney said: “Our brand has been extremely successful in Texas, allowing for tremendous growth opportunities across the state.
“We are quickly gaining brand awareness across the state, fuelling our mission to become America's favourite place for chicken salad.
“It is clear Liz and Alexis align with our true purpose of Spreading Joy, Enriching Lives and Serving Others. We can't wait to see the positive impact they'll have throughout their community.”
The restaurant brand currently has a presence across Fort Worth, Dallas, Houston, Tyler, Amarillo, San Antonio and Waco.
Earlier this month, Chicken Salad Chick announced that it was opening a new restaurant in Milledgeville, Georgia.
The new location will be open to the public on 15 November 2023 and feature a double drive-through.
It will be owned and operated by husband-and-wife duo Lanier and Rod McLeod of RLM Restaurant Group.
