Fast food restaurant franchise ChickQueen is set to open a new venue in Markham, Ontario.

Opening on 18 August 2024, the Markham location will feature ChickQueen's signature chicken dishes: the Royal Crunchy Sandwich, the Tandoori Sandwich, the Classic Chicken Bucket and Chicken Tenders.

To mark the occasion, ChickQueen is launching a special promotion for its customers.

Starting from 15 August 2024, guests can enjoy a complimentary Royal Crunchy sandwich with any purchase of $35 or more. This offer is for a limited-time event and will be available across all ChickQueen restaurants.

The brand launched its first restaurant in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates, and has since expanded to 230 locations worldwide.

ChickQueen specialises in Middle Eastern-style fried and grilled chicken, sandwiches and sides.

The restaurant also offers family and kid-friendly meals, drinks, desserts and dipping sauces.

In May 2023, ChickQueen opened its third restaurant venue in Oakville, Ontario.

The opening of the outlet was part of the franchisee’s plan to expand its presence in the Greater Toronto Area.

Oakville's mayor, Rob Burton, presided over the ribbon-cutting ceremony.

In September 2022 ChickQueen opened its first location in downtown Toronto as part of its development plan.
