India-based restaurant chain China Bistro has unveiled new outlets at Kamala Mills and Atria Mall, Mumbai, in Maharashtra province, as reported by ET Hospitality.
The new outlets are among the largest in the chain and are aligned with Foodlink, the parent company of China Bistro.
Their menu blends Asian cuisine with modern twists, incorporating ingredients such as fermented soybeans and bird's eye chillies.
The outlets feature the Robata section, inspired by Japan’s traditional fireside cooking method. It includes charcoal-grilled dishes such as Yakitori with caramelised green onions, Yakimono Broccoli and Spicy Paneer Kushiyaki with gochujang.
China Bistro at Atria Mall offers a wide-ranging lunch buffet with options for vegetarians and vegans. Its signature dishes include Tom Kha Soup, South Asian Chilli Chicken and Buddha’s Fu dessert.
Foodlink founder and chairman Sanjay Vazirani was quoted by ET Hospitality: “China Bistro has garnered immense appreciation for delivering an elevated Asian dining experience.
“Expanding China Bistro to more locations in Mumbai, Hyderabad and Delhi aligns with our vision to meet the rising demand for exceptional Asian experiences across India.”
The bar menu will offer an array of cocktails and mocktails. Signature drinks include the Matinée Sunset and the Ginny Cloudscape.
Foodlink restaurants division president Navin Chauhan stated: “Our customers are experienced and selective, and China Bistro has established itself in the competitive Pan-Asian dining market with its varied and balanced menu.”
Since its inception in 2012 in Mumbai, China Bistro has established a presence across India and the United Arab Emirates.
