US-based restaurant chain MOD Pizza has announced the relaunch of its Chocolate Peppermint No Name Cake for this holiday season.
The limited-edition holiday item has been rolled out across 540+ venues in the US and Canada.
MOD Pizza explained that its new addition is a chocolate cake with a creamy peppermint filling, coated in dark chocolate and crowned with peppermint candy-cane sprinkles.
Customers can purchase the Chocolate Peppermint No Name Cake until 15 January 2024 or until supplies last.
With prices ranging from $3.49 to $3.89, the cake is available for dine-in, takeout, kerbside pickup and delivery.
MOD Pizza culinary excellence and innovation vice-president Scott Uehlein said: “Our Chocolate Peppermint No Name Cake wraps the classic flavours of the holiday season into one delicious and craveable bite. There’s no better way to finish a meal at MOD this winter.”
In September this year, MOD Pizza added the Pocket Pie as a permanent menu item.
Pocket Pie is available in three options: Italiano, Four Cheese and Chicken Bacon Ranch.
All three variants are handmade, oven-fired and individually sized with authentic, artisanal flavours.
MOD Pizza was founded in Seattle in 2008 by entrepreneurs Scott and Ally Svenson. The brand is dedicated to serving individual artisan-style pizzas and salads on demand.
