India-based restaurant brand Chowman has marked its entry into Mumbai with the launch of a cloud kitchen in Powai.

The Kolkata-based brand, known for its Chinese cuisine, also plans several more dining spaces in the city, as reported by ETHospitalityWorld.com.

Chowman stated: “Located at a prime spot in the city, Chowman’s first outlet in Powai is ready to serve up a feast that is both indulgent and comforting. Whether you are dining in or grabbing a quick takeaway, you can expect flavours that are bold, authentic and truly unforgettable.”

With an interior blending Asian tradition and modern design, the cloud kitchen's menu highlights Eastern flavours.

The menu features traditional Chinese dishes, including dumplings, sizzlers, noodles and a wide selection of seafood.

Starters include Tibetan Momo, Prawn Ka Seong and Kolkata Style Chilli Chicken, while Chowman Special Noodles, Cantonese Noodles & Meifoon, Kung Pao Chicken and Schezwan Orange Roasted Pork feature as main courses.

The vision for Chowman was conceived by Debaditya Chaudhury, managing director of Chowman, Oudh 1590 and Chapter 2.

Under his leadership, the brand has expanded from a single outlet in Kolkata to 45 outlets across India, including in Delhi-NCR, Bangalore and Hyderabad.

Chowman's philosophy combines the elegance of fine dining with affordability, offering authentic Asian cuisine and traditional dishes that trace back to Kolkata, the birthplace of Indo-Chinese cuisine.
