The Dynamic Drive-Thru system developed by SoundHound AI aims to revolutionise the ordering process for drive-through guests, enabling them to place orders through an interactive AI platform.
The integration of SoundHound AI's tech is set to streamline Church’s Texas Chicken's drive-through operations by providing instant audiovisual feedback and understanding verbal commands as effectively as a human attendant.
The system disregards irrelevant speech, improving order accuracy.
Church’s Texas Chicken chief information officer Ahnaf Ali said: “At Church’s, our guests’ experience is extremely important to us and we are always looking for innovative ways to help improve service and overall guest engagement.
“SoundHound’s AI technology will enable us to process orders faster with greater efficiency, reduce wait times and streamline team workflows.”
The voice AI solution is designed to greet customers promptly and take orders efficiently, confirming requests visually and offering options to expedite service.
The innovation not only enhances the customer experience but also increases throughput by allowing restaurant staff to concentrate on order fulfilment.
The technology claims that up to 90% of orders are completed without the need for human intervention, though customers still retain the option to interact with staff if they choose.
