Lebanese and Middle Eastern restaurant operator Comptoir Group plans to open a new Comptoir Libanais location at the Southbank Centre, central London.

Located opposite the Royal Festival Hall, Comptoir Libanais will open around Easter 2024.

Comptoir Group founder Tony Kitous said: “We are proud to be a part of the fabric of London's diverse culinary landscape as we open the doors of another new restaurant, this time on London’s South Bank.

“We are excited to have the opportunity to continue to share the flavours and cultural richness that have won the hearts of our guests, in an environment that captures the essence of Middle Eastern heritage.”

Offering an all-day dining experience, Comptoir Libanais’ 23rd location will be a 135-cover restaurant and will also have 48 covers in an outdoor seating area.

The restaurant will offer a true reflection of Middle Eastern culture with breakfast, lunch, and dinner dishes including sharing platters of hot and cold mezze, grills, salads, wraps and a new breakfast menu.

The restaurant offers alcoholic as well as non-alcoholic beverages.

Comptoir Group CEO Nick Ayerst stated: “Following the successful recent opening in Ealing, we are pleased to announce continued strategic growth in an area of London we have long desired to be in.

“The location on the South Bank captures an immensely high footfall of both workers, visitors and tourists who we know will be hungry for our well-loved authentic Middle Eastern food and culture.”

In September 2023, Comptoir Group announced the new Comptoir Libanais restaurant in Ealing, west London

Located on the High Street, the new restaurant is close to neighbours including Turtle Bay, Wagamama and Castano Lounge.
