Coffee and sandwich chain Costa Coffee has announced the opening of its new drive-through location in Wakefield, UK.
Located in Ossett Silkwood Park, the new Costa Coffee features a drive-thru lane, indoor and outdoor seating, feature walls, and digital menu boards.
The coffee chain noted that its latest store will offer customers an “uplifting and modern” environment.
With a team of nine expert baristas, the new restaurant outlet will be offering guests Costa Coffee’s summer menu, the new refresher range, and sweet treats.
Additionally, the store also has a ‘Rinse and Refill’ station for customers to wash out reusable cups and top up their water bottles for free.
Costa Coffee regional operations director Jude Brackstone said: “We are thrilled to be opening our brand-new Drive-Thru in Wakefield. Our team of skilled baristas are ready to welcome customers with their favourite handcrafted coffee - whether they are on the go or want to sit in.
“We look forward to getting to know the local community, and hope that the news of the store opening will make coffee lovers’ day that little bit better.”
In March this year, Costa Coffee announced an on-average pay hike of 6.7% for more than 16,000 team members employed at company-owned stores in the UK.
The coffee and sandwich chain noted that the base pay rates across Costa Coffee’s baristas will be increased from £10 per hour to at least £10.70 per hour.
