British coffeehouse chain Costa Coffee has announced plans to expand its food and drink menu in the UK, starting on 4 January 2024.
The new menu launch includes hot milkshakes along with plant-based culinary options.
The new milkshake range will be available in White Chocolate and Strawberry, Salted Caramel Coffee and Chocolate Hazel flavours.
The hot milkshakes will be served with Light Whip and toppings including sprinkles, caramel vermicelli and chocolate brownie crumbs.
Costa Coffee’s new rollout also includes plant-based options to meet the growing demand for vegan and vegetarian options.
The plant-based menu was introduced in collaboration with plant-based culinary experts BOSH!
Plant-based options are the Saucy Chicken Fajita Wrap, the Smokin’ BBQ Chicken Panini, the Crackin’ Ham and Cheeze Toastie and the Smashin’ Sausage Bap.
For those who prefer traditional flavours, the new Pork and Apple Sausage Roll and the Raisin and Almond Granola Pot are perfect additions to the menu.
Costa Coffee is also bringing back the Hog Roast Toastie, Heinz Beanz and Cheese Toastie and Roast Chicken and Bacon Toastie.
The dessert menu has also been expanded with the introduction of the Caramelised Biscuit Rocky Road, the Double Chocolate Cookie in collaboration with BOSH! and the return of the Chocolate and Pecan Slice.
The Lemon Drizzle Loaf Cake has been updated with a new recipe for 2024, featuring an added lemon glaze and oil for a zesty flavour.
The new Banana Loaf Cake and Orange and Raspberry Victoria Sponge offer more sweet treats for customers to enjoy.
