Costa Coffee has opened its renovated store at Cornhill in the Dorset town of Dorchester, UK, with new features yet to be rolled out in its high-street outlets.

The uplifted store’s focus is on convenience for customers on the move and it therefore features touch screen ordering and a dedicated collection point.

For customers choosing to be served in the store, there is a new mobile order-to-table feature leveraging a QR code scannable on the Costa Club app. This feature enables customers to order their products and be served at their table.

Costa's skilled baristas will continue to cater to customers who want a personal touch with counter service.

Breakfast options at the uplifted store feature a new range of bakery products, including a flaky Cheese Twist and Pain au Chocolats, alongside coffees crafted by baristas.

The Cornhill outlet features a brighter and lighter store design with new artwork and refurbished furniture creating a welcoming atmosphere that lets customers unwind. It will also have new child-friendly wooden activities in the weeks to come.

This store is designed to serve as a location for social gatherings and work meetings. Charging points throughout the store enable remote working or socialising with friends.

Costa Coffee Retail Propositions director Nick Ridley stated: "We're thrilled to introduce a fresh approach to experiencing Costa Coffee at the revitalised store on Cornhill, Dorchester.
