US-based restaurant chain Crave Hot Dogs & BBQ has unveiled plans to launch an express model inside a Walmart store in New Philadelphia, Ohio.

The move is part of the brand's strategy to integrate into Walmart stores across the country, offering customers a convenient dining option while they shop.

The new express model is designed for fast-casual dining, streamlining the meal-ordering process.

The express model will open at 7am and include a breakfast menu.

The decision to partner with Walmart aligns with the restaurant chain's mission to make its menu more accessible.

The Crave app allows pre-ordering, so customers can place orders in advance and have their meals ready on arrival.

The app also features exclusive secret menu items and special deals, with new users receiving a 10% discount on their first purchase.

The Crave menu features hot dogs, including options such as nacho dogs and chili cheese dogs.

It also offers smoked brisket, pulled chicken and pulled pork dishes, bowls and meals.

Crave Hot Dogs & BBQ CEO Samantha Rincione said: “We couldn't be more excited to introduce this model nationally.

“There are many markets we have interest in, and [we intend to open] 100 units within Walmart locations nationwide over the next year. We are strategically aligning ourselves for national expansion across the US.”

In August 2024, Crave Hot Dogs & BBQ announced that it will debut its first express model inside a Walmart store in Louisville, Kentucky.

The new venture brings the brand's signature offerings to Walmart's Cedar Springs Blvd store.

The 2,000ft² express unit will offer ample seating and feature a special menu.
