Crave Hot Dogs & BBQ has announced plans to open its first express model inside a Walmart store in Louisville, Kentucky, US.  

The new venture brings the brand's signature offerings to a convenient location within the retail giant's Cedar Springs Blvd store.  

The express unit will feature ample seating space, occupy an area of 2,000ft² and showcase an exclusive menu. 

Since its inception in 2018, Crave Hot Dogs & BBQ has expanded rapidly, with both physical locations and food trucks across the US.  

Louisville Express will offer the brand's signature food items, including hot dogs, breakfast items, BBQ and an array of sides and desserts.  

The menu will also have creative takes on classic dishes and regional hot dog variations.  

The Louisville Express location opens in the autumn of 2024.

Apart from in-store dining, Crave Hot Dogs & BBQ also offers catering services and partners with third-party delivery services. 

CEO Samantha Rincione said: “We are ecstatic about signing an Express Unit in Kentucky and bringing Crave Hot Dogs & BBQ to Louisville. 

“Our mission has always been to provide a fun, interactive and delicious dining experience, and we are confident that Louisville will embrace our unique concept.” 

In a separate development, Knuckies Franchise Company has also partnered with Walmart to offer entrepreneurs the chance to open Knuckies Hoagies outlets in select Walmart stores.  

Since its first store in Milton, Georgia in 2019, Knuckies has secured 14 Walmart leases across six US states.  

The franchise is known for its soft rolls and quality ingredients, and has been recognised for having one of the top five cheesesteaks in Atlanta.  

Franchisees can offer Alumni Cookie Dough desserts, adding a unique twist to their menu.
