Dave’s Hot Chicken has reintroduced its "Dave’s NOT Chicken" cauliflower menu items for a limited time.  

From 7 January 2025, customers can purchase the Cauliflower Sliders, Tenders and Bites at all North American locations.  

These non-meat options are prepared with fresh cauliflower, seasoned and fried with the same spices used for the brand's signature hot chicken. 

Each NOT Chicken product is created from a whole head of cauliflower, hand-sliced, seasoned and fried to order.  

NOT Chicken Sliders and Tenders are priced at $2 more than their chicken counterparts, while Bites are the same price as the Chicken Bites.  

Hot Boxes also feature the cauliflower products for those seeking plant-based alternatives. 

Dave’s Hot Chicken CEO Bill Phelps said: “We’ve received hundreds of messages on social media begging us to bring back Dave’s NOT Chicken, so we’re doing just that.  

“If you’re looking for a craveable meatless option, Dave’s Not Chicken Cauliflower items are made for you.” 

Dave’s Hot Chicken offers a range of Hot Chicken Sliders, Tenders and Bites with seven degrees of spice, from No Spice to the extreme Reaper level.  

Accompanying side dishes include house-made Kale Slaw, Mac & Cheese and seasoned French Fries. The brand also offers milkshakes and slushes. 

In a move to diversify its menu further, Dave’s Hot Chicken introduced Top-Loaded Fries in December 2024. The new addition is available in small, regular and large sizes across all outlets.  

The company has sold the rights to more than 1,000 franchise locations across the US, Middle East and Canada, and plans to open more than 80 locations in 2025.
