US-based Mexican quick service restaurant chain Del Taco has announced the opening of its new Fresh Flex location in Philadelphia, Mississippi.

Located at 10040 Frog Level Road, the Fresh Flex location is said to be the first in the state. It is also the first for the franchise organisation DT of Philadelphia.

In 2022, Del Taco partnered with the franchise to open new locations across Alabama and Mississippi.

The new location is part of a multi-unit deal to expand its footprint in the southeast.

Franchisee Brandon Jones said: “We’re honoured to have the opportunity to introduce the great state of Mississippi to Del Taco with this new location in Philadelphia.

“For months, people have been anticipating this opening and I’m confident local residents will instantly come to love the fresh-quality dishes and stellar customer service the chain is known for.”

As part of the Del Tacos Menu of Venues business model, Fresh Flex layouts offer guests a streamlined and convenient experience and showcase the brand’s working kitchen.

The all-new Fresh Flex restaurant boasts a sleek and modernised design and features a double drive-through lane and pick-up lockers with QR code capabilities for third-party delivery services.

Its menu offerings include Del Taco’s signature Mexican favourites such as tacos, Epic Burritos, quesadillas, beverages and Del Taco’s famous Crinkle Cut fries.

Last month, Del Taco opened a Fresh Flex location in Bradenton, Florida.

It was the brand’s second location in the region.
