US-based Mexican quick service restaurant Del Taco has opened its new location in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida.

Del Taco’s new restaurant is located at 3582 W. US Highway 98 and features a dual drive-through and a contemporary décor.

The new design features a modern colour palette and large windows, allowing guests to view the working kitchens.

It also has on-site lockers for third-party delivery partners to pick up their orders securely.

The Santa Rosa Beach location will offer its guests a wide range of menu items, including freshly grilled chicken, carne asada steak, grated cheddar cheese, slow-cooked beans made from scratch, creamy Queso Blanco, fresh house-made guacamole and new signature sauce flavours.

This is the first restaurant opened by franchise organisation Consolidated Taco Holdings in the region.

A Consolidated Taco Holdings spokesperson said: “It’s an honour to bring the first Del Taco location to the Florida panhandle, a popular beach destination visited by many each year.

“We’re eager to provide visitors and residents with the affordable high-quality meals they crave in a modern and convenient space. We look forward to hearing what our guests think.”

Last month, Del Taco launched its new drinks line-up, known as Independence Poppers available in various flavours, including Lemonade, Sprite and Mini Shake.

These new beverages are available across all Del Taco stores in the US until 12 July 2023.
