Dining restaurant chain Denny’s has added nine items to its permanent menus across all its US restaurants.

The permanent additions include the new Brioche French Toast Slam, the Strawberry Stuffed French Toast Slam, the Sweet Cream Cold Brew, the Hershey’s Chocolate Pancake Puppies and the Egg-Cellent Grilled Chicken Cobb Salad.

Denny’s has also added the Let's Cobb About It Prime Rib Cobb Salad, the Mama's Fried Chicken House Salad, the Salmon Salad Your Way and the Crispy Chicken Bacon Ranch Sandwich.

According to the brand, the new menu items are being introduced just in time for the holidays.

Denny’s product innovation vice-president Sharon Lykins said: “Our new French toast bread is made in the brioche style and is decadent, yet soft and light.

“We hand-dip every slice in our rich egg batter and grill it to golden perfection. And for the stuffed French toast version, we blend ricotta, cream cheese and a few secret ingredients to create the perfect fluffy filling.

“Then, we top it off with fresh berries and puree. We are so excited to bring this menu option to breakfast lovers and Denny’s guests, along with a sandwich and four entree salads.”

In August this year, Denny’s relaunched its Pumpkin Pecan Pancakes for the autumn season in the US.

The company said that these buttermilk pancakes are prepared using real pumpkin pie filling and glazed pecans, topped with pecan pie sauce.
