US-based restaurant chain Denny's has opened a new location in Bellflower, California.
The new location offers special menu deals for the summer season, including the Super Slam, which consists of two bacon strips, two sausage links, crispy hash browns, two eggs cooked to order and two buttermilk pancakes.
With prices starting at $9.99, the Super Slam is claimed to be the US's biggest breakfast and will be available until 20 June.
In a statement, franchisee Mohammed Haque said: “As a former Denny's restaurant employee, to now opening my sixth Denny's location as a franchisee, I am grateful to be a part of a brand that has helped support my entrepreneurial journey.
“We are excited to welcome the community of Bellflower—both as Denny's team members and guests. We hope this location is a 'Grand Slam' hit.”
The company announced the return of the Super Slam last month.
Denny's is a family dining restaurant that offers contemporary meals across breakfast, lunch, dinner and late night.
It is one of the largest franchised full-service restaurant brands globally, with 1,602 franchised, licensed and company-owned restaurants, including 157 restaurants outside the US, as of 1 March this year.
It also developed a Denny's on Demand, which is claimed to be the first delivery platform in the family dining segment.
Furthermore, Denny's manages two virtual restaurants called The Meltdown and The Burger Den.
