US-based family-run barbecue restaurant chain Dickey's Barbecue Pit has introduced a new menu item, the Hot Honey BBQ Chicken Sandwich, for a limited time.  

The item blends hot honey with Dickey's signature barbecue flavours. The offering will be available in February and March 2025 only. 

The new sandwich blends sweetness and spice, featuring one ounce of barbecue sauce, one ounce of honey and a sprinkling of brisket rub. It is served on a toasted garlic brioche bun. 

Dickey’s Barbecue Restaurants CEO Laura Rea Dickey stated: “We’ve taken everything our guests love about our barbecue and kicked it up a notch.  

“The Hot Honey BBQ Chicken Sandwich is big on bold flavour, with just the right balance of sweet, smoky, and spicy – whether you go for smoked or crispy chicken.”

In January 2025, Dickey’s Barbecue Pit announced a buy one, get one free (BOGOF) offer on its crispy chicken sandwiches as part of its BBQ Bliss: A Month of Freebies & Flavor campaign.  

Franchisee Gaurav Chaudhary in the US state of Arizona has recently opened three locations in Scottsdale and plans to convert a fourth restaurant to the Dickey’s Barbecue Pit brand.
