Food delivery platform DoorDash has partnered with restaurant tech company ParTech, a subsidiary of PAR Technology, to create a seamless ordering environment.

DoorDash will be integrated with PAR's Brink point-of-sale (POS) software and with MENU Link, a marketplace order management solution within the PAR MENU ecosystem, used for omnichannel ordering.

The partnership will expand PAR’s ecosystem with more than 500 integrations and optimise digital ordering and delivery operations in the US.

A combination of PAR MENU and DoorDash’s marketplace capabilities will help restaurants by allowing automatic order processing via PAR Brink POS.

Brink POS is a next-generation, cloud-native POS software solution that can serve a range of functions.

The mechanism enables centralised control over menu offerings, dynamic pricing for a range of channels, store-level information and sales tracking.

Restaurants will be able to use the PAR partner ecosystem to consolidate tech stacks to further improve operations through a single integrated platform.

The partnership aims to help the restaurant industry enhance its operational efficiency and improve customer satisfaction.

PAR CEO Savneet Singh stated: “We live in a world where digital-savvy consumers demand seamless digital experiences.

“Our partnership with DoorDash unifies the ordering landscape and simplifies restaurant tech stacks. This enables faster and smoother operations for all stakeholders without compromising guest satisfaction.”

In October 2023, ParTech signed an agreement to provide unified POS software and MENU Link offerings to Burger King’s restaurants across North America.

The platform allows omnichannel ordering, kitchen management, restaurant operations and analytics, all within a completely configurable system.

It also ensures guest engagement and provides an optimised experience to the operators by maintaining a user-friendly design.
