US-based coffee and doughnuts brand Dunkin’ has introduced inflatable spider decor doughnuts for Halloween.
The brand is set to launch a six-foot-tall inflatable spider doughnut, which will be made available to shop through ShopDunkin.com.
This inflatable spider doughnut with a sweet orange glow is said to be ideal for decorating porches, lawns and front stoops, among others.
Dunkin’ also plans to launch its spider doughnut and Halloween sprinkle takeover, starting 11 October 2023 at its US restaurants.
The new special edition doughnut will be a yeast doughnut with orange frosting.
It will be topped with a chocolate-finished Munchkin doughnut Hole Treat to mimic a spider, with chocolate drizzle for spider legs and white drizzle to create the eyes.
In a press statement, the brand said: “And for those who want to carry a touch of Halloween magic wherever it takes them this season, a limited-edition Spider Doughnuts Keychain is available exclusively in-store at participating Dunkin’ restaurants (SRP: $7.99).”
Furthermore, Dunkin’ plans to launch a chocolate & orange sprinkle takeover of the classic vanilla, chocolate and strawberry frosted doughnuts.
The brand said these seasonal treats can be complemented with its Pumpkin Spice Signature Latte.
Dunkin’ brand engagement director Kemma Kefalas said: “Our Spider Doughnut has increasingly become a symbol of the Halloween spirit here at Dunkin’.
“Every October, we watch our guests celebrate the spooky season with Spider Doughnuts in hand. This year, we wanted to create a new and out-of-the-doughnuts-box way for Spider Doughnuts super fans to showcase their love for the season with this inflatable masterpiece.”
Earlier this year, Dunkin’ unveiled a full summer menu, which includes the relaunch of the Dunkin’ Salted Caramel Cold Brew and the introduction of Dunkin’ Wraps. The doughnut chain also has some new and classic iced beverages in the summer menu.
