Earls Restaurant Group has expanded its presence in Canada with the opening of a new restaurant in Yorkville, Toronto.

Earls Yorkville is scheduled to open on 10 November in the Manulife Centre, near the intersection of Bay and Bloor.

People can take the subway and hop off at Bloor-Yonge Station, a two-minute walk from the new restaurant.

Featuring Earls' signature contemporary style, the Yorkville restaurant will be the group’s 59th location in Canada.

The menu of Earls Yorkville, which takes inspiration from global cuisines, has been created by Chef David Wong.

It also includes some exclusive items such as Northern Divine Caviar and Conservas.

Earls Yorkville also has a separate drinks menu comprising a cocktail and wine list that has been curated by sommelier David Stansfield.

Once open, the restaurant will run a Happy Hour programme twice daily, with food options starting at C$4 and drinks starting at C$5.

Earls Restaurant Group chief brand officer Kristin Vekteris said: “We are delighted to finally bring Earls to Yorkville – a neighbourhood that stands as an iconic testament to the city’s cultural richness, elegance and vibrant lifestyle.

“Yorkville embodies a sense of community that beckons businesses to become an integral part of its charm, which led Earls to the renowned Manulife Centre at the epic intersection of Bay and Bloor, the perfect location for us and our guests.”

Earls Restaurant Group already has five other locations in the Greater Toronto Area and plans to open Earls King West by early next year.

The company owns and operates ten restaurants across the US.

By summer next year, Earls is expected to open a new restaurant in Miami WorldCentre and another in Las Olas, Fort Lauderdale, which is scheduled to open late in 2024.

Earls said that these expansion efforts are part of its strategic plan to tap into South Florida’s culinary landscape.
