Indian bubble tea chain Easy Boba has inaugurated its 19th outlet in Chembur, Mumbai, India.
The development is part of the brand's strategic efforts to cement its presence in the Indian café and beverage sector, as reported by IndiaRetailer.com.
The Mumbai-based chain claims to sell authentic Taiwanese bobas.
The brand currently operates 19 outlets across the cites of Mumbai, Pune and Gujarat and has plans to expand across the country.
Easy Boba founder Adnan Sarkar was quoted by the website: “The launch of our Chembur outlet marks another significant step in our journey to make bubble tea a household favourite in India.
“We are grateful for the love and support from our customers, which drives us to expand and innovate continuously. Easy Boba is not just a beverage brand - it’s a lifestyle that celebrates diversity, inclusivity and great taste.”
Easy Boba' bubble tea options include dairy-free, low-calorie and plant-based alternatives.
In December 2024, Easy Boba introduced limited-edition winter beverages featuring fresh strawberries combined with Nutella, matcha or vanilla-flavoured boba teas.
The Nutella blend combined the chocolate and nut spread with strawberries for a creamy beverage. Matcha Strawberry Boba paired the fruit with the earthy flavour of matcha. Vanilla Strawberry Boba, with its vanilla notes, was designed to suit colder weather and festive occasions.
In early January 2025, Boba Bhai, another Indian quick-service chain specialising in bubble tea and Korean foods, secured Rs300m ($3.47m) during a Series A funding round.
