Greek restaurant estiatorio Milos has opened its doors at Marina Bay Sands in Singapore - its first venture into the Asian market.

The restaurant is founded by chef Costas Spiliadis.

estiatorio Milos is situated at The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands, a business, leisure and entertainment destination. The restaurant can accommodate 155 guests for lunch and dinner.

With a history spanning 45 years, the Singapore location is estiatorio Milos' tenth international establishment.

The grand opening of estiatorio Milos at Marina Bay Sands was commemorated with an event attended by 250 guests.

estiatorio Milos’s menu features the natural flavours of globally sourced ingredients and Mediterranean seafood.

The restaurant also offers Singapore's most extensive collection of Greek wines, with a curated selection from many regions of the country.

The wine programme at estiatorio Milos includes indigenous grape varieties, highlighting the unique terroirs where they originate, from the volcanic soils of Santorini to the mountainous regions of the Peloponnese.

Marina Bay Sands chief operating officer Paul Town said: “Milos stands at the pinnacle of Greek culinary excellence, with its one-of-a-kind experience across the globe.

“We are honoured to work with chef Costas Spiliadis to introduce Milos to this region, knowing his dedication to quality and passion for staying true to his Greek heritage and culture. We are excited to embark on an odyssey with Milos to bring the best and most authentic experience to all our guests.”

Designed by Alain Carle Architecte, the same company behind the Las Vegas and New York locations, estiatorio Milos in Singapore captures the essence of Greek architecture.

The design features a grand marble entrance and a portico of the iconic windmills found in the Cycladic islands.
