US-based salad restaurant chain Evergreens has selected Bikky, a customer data platform (CDP) built for multi-unit restaurants, as its customer data and analytics partner.

As the new partner, New York-based Bikky will automate the decision-making processes at Evergreens and help it understand menu performance.

Evergreens will leverage Bikky’s solution to track how a particular item on the menu impacts the overall sales, retention and frequency at each location.

Prior to its collaboration with Bikky, Evergreens’ leadership team relied mainly on spreadsheets to understand how different toppings and dishes impacted their customers and sales.

Bikky said that the old process required the team to "spend hours" manually "pulling and analysing" orders from multiple systems.

Furthermore, this manual process limited Evergreens’ capability to modify their marketing, operational and culinary strategies to manage changes in customers’ behaviour.

Evergreens marketing director Stephanie Bills said: “Bikky's menu-level data is a game changer. We use it in almost every aspect of the business, from menu development to predictive product ordering, to almost every corner of marketing.

“Being able to drill into what specific items work best for acquisition and which ones keep guests coming back for more has had a near intangible impact on our strategies.”

Bikky noted that its solutions will help Evergreens make data-driven decisions that will enhance bottom-line and customer experiences.

Bikky co-founder and CEO Abhinav Kapur said: “Evergreens is one of the most innovative, customer-centric salad concepts in the industry.

“They are obsessed with differentiating themselves in a crowded category and consistently highlighting that differentiation to win new fans. It’s an honour to partner in their vision of being one of the most customisable, unique and freshest concepts in the Pacific Northwest.”
