Famous Foods Street Eats deploys Agilysys platform

The move is set to improve dining experience across 16 diverse culinary stalls.

Resorts World Las Vegas has implemented the Agilysys InfoGenesis (IG) point-of-sale (POS) platform and kiosks to enhance operational efficiency at Famous Foods Street Eats.

The move also aims to improve the dining experience across its 16 diverse culinary stalls.

The 24,000ft² gourmet market and food hall offers a "street food" destination.

Since opening in 2021, it has provided visitors with the ability to view, order and pay for meals through interactive kiosks.

The Resorts World food and beverage team sought a more flexible POS system to allow real-time menu and price changes and offer specials without downtime. They also aimed to improve the dining experience by enabling guests to wait at their tables and receive an SMS when their order is ready.

The need for a POS system that could adapt to different operating hours of food stalls, remove menus when closed and reintegrate them upon opening was also a key factor. The kitchen staff required a system to segregate orders for efficient preparation.

With the IG kiosks, diners will be able to select menu items, process payments and print receipts independently. They eliminate the need for counter-service staff at each venue, ensure order and payment accuracy and reduce queues.

The system supports payment methods including player points and room charges. Automated multi-station routing facilitates order preparation by splitting and transmitting items to the appropriate kitchen display system (KDS).

Agilysys gaming area vice-president Ryan Carrier said: “It is exciting when a customer operates a venue with specific and complex business and guest experience requirements that challenge us to align our technology with their desires.

“Famous Foods Street Eats in Resorts World Las Vegas presented such an opportunity, and it has been gratifying to deliver capabilities and performance other providers could not.”

The Resorts World team has deployed Agilysys Pay for secure payments, Agilysys Analyze for operational insights, and Agilysys KDS to optimise kitchen operations, besides the POS platform and 34 IG kiosks.

These solutions collectively aim to streamline service, enhance the dining experience and provide valuable data for management decisions.
