US-based fast casual restaurant brand Farmer Boys has signed an agreement to launch two new restaurants in Southern California, QSR has reported.

The two restaurant venues are planned in Visalia and Kern County and will be owned and operated by Joseph Sadek and his brother George.

QSR quoted Joseph Sadek as saying: “George and I have had an incredible experience with Farmer Boys and we are thrilled to continue growing alongside the brand in its home state.

“We were immediately attracted to the concept and its mission of providing farm-fresh food to their guests.

“The position that the brand holds within the industry is unmatched when compared to other [quick service] concepts. We look forward to providing exceptional service and delicious food for guests.”

Farmer Boys offers a wide array of menu items, including burgers, breakfast options, salads, sandwiches and more.

The two-unit development agreement is part of Farmer Boys’ growth strategy.

According to the report, the restaurant brand is said to have set a target to open 50 restaurant outlets over the next five years and plans to foray into three new markets.

QSR quoted Farmer Boys franchise development vice-president John Lucas as saying: “The Sadeks have grown and evolved with us for over the last 15 years.

“With Farmer Boys being a family-founded and driven brand, it’s very exciting to see our franchisees continue that same tradition with their new locations. As longtime owners, we have full confidence that the duo will continue to provide an excellent restaurant experience for their guests.”
