FAT Brands, the parent company of Great American Cookies and Marble Slab Creamery brands, has announced the opening of the co-branded store at Cook Children’s Medical Center in Fort Worth, Texas.

The new store is located on the first floor of the newly expanded Dodson Speciality Clinic. The launch is part of the company's plans to expand its presence in non-traditional spaces.

Cook Children’s Medical Center also includes the Child Study Center.

For nearly four decades, Marble Slab Creamery has offered homemade, small-batch ice creams, shakes and ice cream cakes.

Great American Cookies offers items such as brownies and double doozies, which are made with icing sandwiched between two cookies.

FAT Brands chief development officer Taylor Wiederhorn said: “The opening of our co-branded Great American Cookies and Marble Slab Creamery location at Cook Children’s reinforces FAT Brands’ commitment to executing a diverse growth strategy that brings our 18 restaurant brands to a wider audience.

“With this new opening, FAT Brands continues to demonstrate adaptability and a forward-thinking approach in the ever-evolving franchise landscape.”

Last month, the company opened its first Great American Cookies and Marble Slab Creamery co-branded location in Happy Valley, Oregon, the US.

The co-branded store is in Clackamas County and is the first for both brands in the Pacific Northwest region.

Full-service restaurant (FSR) was the largest profit sector channel in Germany in 2022

The Germany foodservice profit sector generated revenue of EUR84.8 billion ($89.3 billion) in 2022, and is expected to grow at a CAGR of more than 11% during 2022-2027. FSR was the largest foodservice profit sector channel in 2022, reflecting the popularity of traditional fine-dining experiences among German consumers. Despite the highly fragmented market, pub, club & bar channel is set to record the highest growth during 2022–27, triggered by an increase in transactions and average transaction value.
