US frozen cocktails chain Fat Tuesday is set to make a comeback to South Beach in Miami, Florida.

The cocktails chain will re-open its store at 635 Collins Avenue on 20 January 2024.

Since its inception in New Orleans in 1984, Fat Tuesday has established itself as one of the best-known destinations for frozen beverages.

The latest addition, within the Metropole Hotel, pays tribute to Miami Beach's cultural heritage, blending an Art Deco ambience with the brand's unique style.

The lounge setting and neon-lit outdoor terrazzo space provide an ideal backdrop for festivities.

The Metropole Hotel, which dates back to 1940, stands as a monument to the Art Deco era in the historic Ocean/Collins Avenue district.

Fat Tuesday co-CEO Kevin Higgins said: “Bringing our famous frozen cocktails to the iconic Collins Avenue is our way of celebrating Miami’s vibrant community, and what better place to enjoy a good time with even better drinks?”

In October 2023, casual dining brand Applebee’s Neighborhood Grill + Bar announced the relaunch of its BOO-zy cocktails for the Halloween season.

Applebee’s BOO-zy cocktail menu comprises two new $5 Mucho Cocktails, known as Spooky Sips.

The first was Tipsy Zombie, made from Bacardi Superior, passion fruit, pineapple, cherry, lime and melon liqueur topped with a gummy brain.

The second was Dracula’s Juice, a frozen drink made with Bacardi Superior, Jose Cuervo, berry and lemon.
