Finland-based company Fazer Group has opened two new Gateau cafés at terminals 2 and 5 of the Arlanda Airport in Stockholm, Sweden.

These cafés have been opened in collaboration with SSP Group, which operates food and beverage outlets mainly in travel locations.

The latest openings are part of Fazer and SSP Group’s existing partnership to open four Gateau cafés across Arlanda Airport by the end of this year and early next year.

Fazer said that the other two Gateau cafes in Arlanda Sky City and at the Arlanda Marketplace will soon open their doors to customers.

Fazer’s artisan bakery Gateau at terminals 2 and 5 of Arlanda Airport will offer a variety of baked breads and pastries, coffees, light lunches and a range of sandwiches and salads.

Both cafes allow customers to dine on-site or take away.

Gateau café at terminal 2 will serve travellers between 5AM and 9PM. The cafe at terminal 5 will serve guests between 5AM and 10PM.

Fazer Retail head Johan Rosenblom said: “It is such a great opportunity to establish our premium brand Gateau at Arlanda, a marketplace where 19 million travellers and some 15,000 employees pass by every year.

“We are proud to have opened our first Gateau cafés at Arlanda and are happy to have already received positive and encouraging feedback from our visitors. Now we look forward to welcoming even more customers.

“We are thrilled to offer Gateau’s and Fazer’s high-quality products to international travellers.”

Gateau artisan bakery was established in 1937 and has been a part of Fazer Group since 2011.

Gateau currently has 14 outlets in Finland and 36 outlets in Stockholm, Uppsala and Skåne in Sweden.
