International restaurant brand Fogo de Chão has unveiled plans to bolster its footprint in the Los Angeles Metro Area by opening a new restaurant in Thousand Oaks.
The company has executed a lease agreement for The Lakes at Thousand Oaks, which will be the company’s ninth location in Los Angeles Metro Area.
Fogo de Chão CEO Barry McGowan said: “For nearly 45 years, Fogo has been introducing authentic Brazilian dining experiences into cities worldwide by giving them culinary discoveries you can’t find at any other restaurant.
“We are thrilled to continue expanding our presence in Southern California and to continue to bring the culinary art of churrasco to the Thousand Oaks community in partnership with the accomplished development team at Caruso.”
The restaurant will be joining Fogo de Chão’s other restaurants in the region in Downtown Los Angeles, Beverly Hills, Irvine, El Segundo, Pasadena and Woodland Hills.
The upcoming Huntington Beach and Brea restaurants are scheduled to open later this year.
Since the beginning of this year, the Brazilian restaurant brand has signed 12 new domestic and international lease agreements.
Additionally, the restaurant company recently announced plans to enter Turkey and Ecuador as part of its strategic global growth plan.
The Thousand Oaks restaurant will feature Fogo’s recent brand transformation with enhanced design and innovation platforms.
It will offer weekday lunch, weekend Brazilian brunch, Bar Fogo, and group and private dining options.
