Fogo de Chão, a restaurant chain specialising in southern Brazilian cuisine, has announced plans to expand its footprint in the US state of Maryland with a new location in Towson.
To open in late 2024, this will be the chain's fourth restaurant in the state and the second in the Baltimore area.
The 7,924ft² restaurant at 825 Dulaney Valley Road, Towson, joins the brand's existing Maryland locations in Baltimore, North Bethesda and National Harbor.
The Towson restaurant will feature Fogo de Chão's signature open churrasco grill, allowing guests to observe the culinary process.
It will also include a Market Table, offering a variety of seasonal salads, fresh superfoods, cured meats and antipasti.
In line with Fogo de Chão's recent brand transformation, the Towson location will showcase new design elements.
Fogo de Chão CEO Barry McGowan said: “We are thrilled to continue to bring our passion for providing Brazilian hospitality and unforgettable dining experiences to the Baltimore area.
“We look forward to welcoming the Towson community to our newest restaurant, showcasing our latest brand innovations and culinary discoveries for new and existing guests alike.”
In February 2024, Fogo de Chão signed a lease agreement for its 11th location in Southern California.
The new 7,246ft² restaurant, situated at 1551 Ocean Avenue in Santa Monica, will open in late 2024.
It will complement Fogo de Chão’s presence in the Los Angeles Metro area, Orange County and San Diego.
