Fogo de Chão, a restaurant chain specialising in southern Brazilian cuisine, has signed a lease agreement to make its debut in Nashville, Tennessee.

The new 8,500ft² location is scheduled to open in 2025 at Nashville Yards, a 19-acre mixed-use development.

Fogo de Chão’s new restaurant will be located on the ground level of the office building, which is being developed by Southwest Value Partners and AEG.

Southwest Value Partners managing partner Cary Mack said: “We’re excited to welcome Fogo de Chão to Nashville Yards.

“Fogo presents its food in uniquely fun and interesting ways. It’s fresh, flavorful and offers something for everyone.

“Their speciality prime meats butcher shop, curated wine programme and lounge are all fantastic additions to the amenities we are curating for our tenants, residents and visitors.”

The Nashville restaurant will showcase Fogo’s recent brand transformation with enhanced design and innovation platforms.

It will feature an expansive dining room centred around an open churrasco grill.

Fogo de Chão CEO Barry McGowan said: “We are eager to enter the Tennessee market and expand our Southeast footprint with our first restaurant at Nashville Yards.

“As a prime destination for visitors from around the world, our restaurant will serve as a memorable addition to the lively experiences Nashville has to offer.”

Earlier this month, Fogo de Chão announced its plans to open its second location in Orlando, Florida, in 2024.

It signed a lease agreement for the new outlet at Vineland Pointe, Orlando’s newest retail destination at 11513 Regency Village Drive.
