Canada-based restaurant brands franchisor Foodtastic has acquired Quebec-based Archibald Restaurants.
Financial details of the deal have not been disclosed.
Foodtastic now holds exclusive rights to develop the Archibald brand.
Foodtastic aims to open new Archibald locations in the two years up to 2026, re-inforcing its market presence in the province and across Canada.
Foodtastic's portfolio contains 1,100 restaurants domestically and internationally.
Its diverse brand range includes Freshii, Quesada, Second Cup, Pita Pit, Shoeless Joe's and many others.

In October 2023, Foodtastic signed an agreement to acquire the quick-service restaurant (QSR) brand Noodlebox.
Established in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada in 2001, Noodlebox specialises in wok-fired Asian street food.
The QSR brand owns and operates more than 40 locations and is focusing on rapid expansion across Canada.
