Fast-casual restaurant chain Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers has broadened its reach in the US with new openings in North Olmsted, Ohio and Fontana, California.
The 2,494ft² standalone restaurant in North Olmsted can host 56 guests indoors, with additional patio seating available.
Situated at 27350 Lorain Road, the new establishment offers cooked-to-order steakburgers made from lean 100% ground beef, all-beef hot dogs and shoestring fries. Its desserts are made from freshly churned chocolate or vanilla frozen custard.
In addition to in-person dining, customers at the North Olmsted location can place orders through the Freddy's mobile app or via the brand's website.
The restaurant also provides a drive-thru service.
Freddy’s North Olmsted franchise owner Dominic Gatta said: “Our focus on genuine hospitality and premium quality menu items makes Freddy’s a desirable lunch and dinner choice for those who live, work and attend school in the area.
“We’re a convenient stop for nearby shoppers to grab a quick bite to eat, and we’re also a great spot for groups to meet up after sports games and other events. We have two popular speciality orders we regularly recommend to first-time guests: the Freddy’s Original Double and the Signature Turtle Sundae.
“There are several condiment and topping options for our food and freshly churned frozen custard, so we encourage guests to customise their orders to their liking. We also offer a variety of limited-time menu items throughout each year.”
The 2,442ft² venue in Fontana, California, is located at 10149 Citrus Avenue. It can accommodate 40 guests and also offers the convenience of drive-thru service.

In April 2023, Freddy’s opened a corporate-owned restaurant location in Belleville, Illinois, US.
