US-based fast casual restaurant concept Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers has expanded its presence in the US by opening a new restaurant in Covington, Kentucky.

Spanning approximately 2,768ft², the newest Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers restaurant is located at 12200 Town Center Dr in Covington.

It serves customers from Sunday to Thursday between 10:30AM to 10PM and from 10:30AM to 11PM on Friday and Saturday.

The latest milestone was also marked by an official ribbon-cutting ceremony, which was held in collaboration with the Newton Chamber of Commerce on 23 October. 

Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers franchise owner Jason Ingermanson said: “We feel thrilled to bring Freddy's experience to this new community. We look forward to being a convenient dining option for those who work and attend school in the area. 

“Our commitment to high-quality, cooked-to-order food and genuine hospitality will make this restaurant a destination for families and friends who want to enjoy fresh, hot meals and classic dessert treats in a comfortable atmosphere.”

The freestanding restaurant’s main dining space can accommodate up to 76 people. It also features additional seating space on the patio.

The new Freddy’s in Covington will also feature drive-through services. 

Orders can be placed through Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers’ mobile application and website.

The restaurant brand was co-founded by brothers Bill and Randy Simon and their business partner Scott Redler in Wichita, Kansas, in 2002. Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers currently has more than 500 locations across the US.

It specialises in offering cooked-to-order steakburgers with customised toppings, all-beef hot dogs, shoestring fries and other savoury items.

Earlier this month, Freddy’s opened its new restaurant at 608 SW Wilshire Boulevard in Burleson, Texas, US.
