Canadian coffee chain Good Earth Coffeehouse has expanded its presence with the opening of a new location at Bayers Lake Power Centre in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

This is the ninth collaboration with Chapters/Indigo for the brand, which is known for its ethically sourced coffee and food offerings.

The newest Bayers Lake location will feature Good Earth Coffeehouse's signature Rainforest Alliance Certified coffees, roasted to the company's strict specifications.

The menu features a variety of options for breakfast, lunch and dinner, all made from fresh ingredients and prepared daily in-house.

Situated at 188 Chain Lake Drive in Halifax, Nova Scotia, the newly opened Good Earth Coffeehouse in Bayers Lake will open on 17 August 2024 with a celebration featuring free coffee throughout the day, food tastings and live music.

Good Earth Coffeehouse Bayers Lake will be operated and owned by Maggie Chidiac and Aimee Stewart.

Chidiac and Stewart said: “We are excited to join the Good Earth family.

“It's important to us that a company delivers an exceptional experience to its customers, while also taking time to build positive relationships in the communities and Good Earth does just that.”

With more than 60 locations across Canada, Good Earth Coffeehouse has come a long way since its inception in Calgary in 1991.

The company's growth has been mainly fuelled by franchising.

In February 2024, the brand confirmed the opening of its second Toronto location at 686 Bay Street.
