Great American Cookies, part of FAT Brands, has achieved a key growth milestone with the opening of its 400th location in the US.
According to QSR Web.com, the brand, known for its chocolate chip cookie recipe, has opened its new location in Fort Meyers, Florida.
Founded in 1977, Great American Cookies currently has a presence across 31 US states and five countries worldwide.
Great American Cookies president Allison Lauenstein said: “For the last 46 years, we have proven that Great American Cookies is a strong franchise concept that stands the test of time.
“While the space has gained new entrants over the years, our customers continue to celebrate their milestones with our Original Cookie Cakes and create sweet memories with our fresh-baked cookies.

Over the past two years, the brand has opened 73 new outlets in the country and made its debut in new states such as Alaska, Arizona, Illinois and New Mexico.
The brand also expanded its presence through a co-branding model with a sister brand, Marble Slab Creamery.
The company currently has more than 179 co-branded locations across the globe.
Last month, Great American Cookies opened two locations at the Franklin Mills Mall in Philadelphia.
