Global franchising company FAT Brands has announced the opening of the first Great American Cookies store in Alaska.
The new store is located at 800 E Dimond Blvd, Suite 183, Anchorage, AK 99515.
It is open for customers from Monday to Saturday between 10AM and 9PM and Sunday between 12PM and 7PM.
According to FAT Brands, this Anchorage location will serve as a major sweet hub for the residents.
The menu includes a wide variety of desserts, including fresh and soft-baked cookies, Custom Cookie Cakes and brownies.
Great American Cookies president Allison Lauenstein said: “This year, Great American Cookies arrived in Arizona, New Mexico and Illinois.
“Growing domestically has been a key growth pillar for us, so we are pleased to be able to expand our footprint to four new states, including Alaska, in just a few months.
“We see Anchorage as a great market to make our Alaska debut in, providing a perfect spot for family nights, birthdays and beyond.”
Great American Cookies, formerly known as Nestlé Toll House Café, was founded in 1977 and was acquired and rebranded by the franchising company FAT Brands in 2022.
The chain is known for its Original Cookie Cake, brownies, Double Doozies and a variety of freshly baked cookies.
Great American Cookies currently has 371 bakeries across the US, Bahrain, Guam and Saudi Arabia.
The latest opening further marks the expansion of the Great American Cookies chain in the US.
In February 2023, Great American Cookies announced the opening of two new stores in the suburbs of Schaumburg and Orland Park, Chicago, Illinois.
