Greene King’s franchise business unit, Greene King Pub Partners, has secured accreditation and membership in the British Franchise Association (BFA).
BFA is an independent self-regulatory body that ensures the integrity and credibility of the franchising sector.
It also provides guidance, support and accreditation to businesses that provide franchises.
In November 2021, Greene King Pub Partners launched the Hive Pubs franchise concept. Since then, it has grown to more than 30 pubs.
The Hive Pub franchise agreement offers a ready-to-trade pub within a proven branded concept. The franchisees can expect a minimum guaranteed income of £20,000 ($25,472.5), a percentage of food and drink sales and a bonus.
With this accreditation and membership, Greene King Pub Partners will incorporate best practices, ensuring transparent operations and the welfare and success of its franchisees.
Greene King Pub Partners franchisees and Hive Pubs franchisees will receive BFA benefits such as access to its community of franchisees, as well as expertise and resources from the BFA itself.
Greene King Pub Partners managing director Dan Robinson said: “We are immensely proud to receive accreditation from the British Franchise Association.
“This accreditation underlines our commitment to work with our Hive Pubs and franchise partners to grow successful pub businesses together.
“While we remain a leased and tenanted pub business at our core, this is an exciting development as we continue to grow Hive Pubs and our franchise offer.”
