Griffin's Kitchen + Bar, a US-based chef-driven restaurant brand, has officially opened its doors in downtown Brea, California.

The venue, situated at 120 S Brea Blvd, has been extensively expanded and remodelled to provide guests with a modern dining experience featuring chef-prepared cuisine.

The menu reflects the New American culinary movement, incorporating Alta Baja influences that merge traditional Mexican ingredients with the diverse flavours of contemporary California dining.

The menu at Griffin's Kitchen + Bar is the result of executive chef Gabriela Gomez's culinary expertise.

Gomez said: "I'm so thrilled for the opportunity to do what I love, which is not just to feed people but also fill in a gap in the Brea community for something different. This menu is a showcase of the diverse skills I have cultivated as a chef, butcher, baker and menu creator.

“While our starting menu is incredibly approachable, I hope to earn the local community's trust and continue to develop and expand the menu."

Griffin's Bar will also offer an array of cocktails to its patrons.

The bar will feature a selection of fine spirits, including tequila and mezcal, alongside premium wines sourced from Baja's Valle de Guadalupe wine country and Californian vineyards and a variety of beers.

Griffin's co-founder Robert Griffin said: “Griffin's is a concept a decade in the making and we can't wait to share it with our guests.

“Our family and circle of friends have forged strong traditions around gathering at venues for quality food and shared experiences.

“I enjoy socialising. I pursue great food. I expect proper service. I seek out a good vibe. Most of all, I love a spot that includes it all. That's a level I expect Griffin's to achieve.”
