US-based restaurant company The Habit Burger Grill has announced the return of the Patty Melt in the country due to customer demand.

The sandwich has been made available once again at participating locations across the US for a limited period.

The Patty Melt is known for its unique blend of flavours, featuring caramelised onions, melted cheeses and a tangy Thousand Island dressing.

This is complemented by two chargrilled beef patties and served between slices of toasted rye bread.

The Habit Burger Grill culinary innovation director Jason Triail stated: “Announcing the return of our flagship item amidst the exhilarating energy of one of California's most dynamic concerts [the iHeartRadio ALTer EGO Festival 2024] is a thrill beyond compare.

“Much like the bands gracing the ALTer EGO stage, our Patty Melt is the undisputed rockstar product with a dedicated fanbase.

“This announcement, set against the backdrop of musical greatness, adds another layer of energy to our iconic sandwich's return.”

The Habit Burger Grill is known for its charburgers, signature sandwiches and salads.

In November 2023, The Habit Burger Grill opened its new restaurant in Easley, South Carolina.

Located at 6210 Calhoun Memorial Highway, the 2,800ft² Easley restaurant features a drive-through facility and offers both dine-in and takeout options.

It is the brand’s third location in South Carolina.

The Habit Burger Grill CFO Tiffany Furman said at the time of the opening: “We are so proud to open our third restaurant in the beautiful Palmetto State.”

Guests can place their order through indoor self-serve kiosks, online through The Habit mobile app or via the company website.

The restaurant also offers delivery through GrubHub, DoorDash, Postmates and Uber Eats.
