US-based restaurant company The Habit Burger Grill is opening its new restaurant in Mooresville, North Carolina.

Located at 379 W Plaza Drive, Mooresville, the new restaurant will be opened to the public on 4 October. It will be the company’s sixth restaurant in North Carolina.

The Mooresville restaurant covers an area of 2,868ft² and will offer drive-through, dine-in and takeout.

Kerbside pick-up and delivery from the restaurant will be made available through The Habit mobile app and online at order.

The restaurant plans to host exclusive pre-opening VIP events for its CharClub and mobile app members to honour the new opening.

The Habit Burger Grill CFO Tiffany Furman said: “The Habit Burger Grill is beyond thrilled to open its sixth restaurant in the beautiful state of North Carolina, this time in the iconic Race City US.”

The new restaurant will also offer additional ordering options for guests, including indoor self-serve kiosks and delivery through DoorDash, GrubHub, Postmates and Uber Eats.

In August 2023, the restaurant launched a new location in University Place, Washington, marking its 14th restaurant in the US state.

At that time, Furman said: “We opened our first The Habit Burger Grill in Santa Barbara almost 55 years ago in 1969 and we’ve grown to more than 350 different locations worldwide and we couldn’t be more excited about our University Place opening.”

The Habit Burger Grill fast casual restaurant has more than 370 locations. It has operations in 14 US states, as well as China and Cambodia.
