US-based fast-casual restaurant brand Hawaiian Bros has expanded its presence in the state of Arizona with the debut of its first two island-inspired franchise bricks-and-mortar locations in Tucson and Glendale.
The Tucson venue, situated at 203 S Wilmot Road, is already open and the Glendale location will open on 4 March 2024 at 7322 W Bell Road.
Hawaiian Bros, which currently operates two ghost kitchen locations in Arizona, has reached 50 locations nationwide and plans to expand further this year.
The restaurant brand has garnered attention for its island-inspired plate lunch, featuring chicken or pork glazed with a range of sauces.
The chain also offers macaroni salad, steamed white rice or vegetables and tropical Dole Soft Serve as a dessert option.
Stine Enterprises president and owner Adam Stine said: “Arizona is the newest market for the western expansion of the Hawaiian Bros brand.
“We received a tremendous response from our ghost kitchen locations in Phoenix and Tempe and are looking forward to doubling our Arizona footprint with the openings of two new Hawaiian Bros restaurants.”
In December 2023, Hawaiian Bros increased its store network with two new locations in Texas.
The first location in Texas opened in Tyler City, and the second in Midland.
The two new locations will be opened by Stine Enterprises as part of a franchise agreement signed last year.
Since signing the agreement, Stine Enterprises has opened two ghost kitchens in Arizona. Stine plans to further expand the brand’s reach to its tenth market, with two new Hawaiian Bros locations in north Texas.
