Fast casual restaurant brand HCK Hot Chicken is set to open a new restaurant location in Upstate New York.

The restaurant brand, known for offering Nashville-style food, will be operated by franchisee Naiem Rizek.

The new location will open at 3310 Sheridan Drive in Buffalo on 2 September 2023. The first 23 customers will receive free sandwiches.

Rizek said: “What sets HCK apart from other restaurants are the smiles when you walk through the door. The team greets each and every customer, making them feel welcomed as if they are now family.

“Plus, the restaurant offers unique flavours unlike any other chicken places I have tried. The menu offerings combined with the exceptional customer service make it a 10 out of 10.”

Covering an area of 2,100ft², the new site will offer dine-in services and online ordering through the company’s website, mobile app and third-party partners.

The restaurant will offer hot chicken tenders, sandwiches and a signature line of premium sauces.

Rizek added: “I’m incredibly grateful to my parents for having the confidence in me to pursue my dreams and to have instilled the solid values I need to succeed. I’m thrilled to be part of the HCK family and to bring their unique offerings to Buffalo.”

Going forward, Rizek hopes to open additional HCK Hot Chicken locations in the future.

HCK Hot Chicken chief strategic officer Dave Wood said: “We are excited to enter the New York market with the leadership of Naiem. As a native of the area, he has a deep understanding of the surrounding community and brings the drive and passion we seek in franchisees.

“We look forward to sharing our flavour-packed menu with Buffalo residents and visitors and celebrating the grand opening with them.”

Could the consumer industry be bolstered by the increased use of AI

The consumer goods, foodservice, and packaging sectors are undergoing digital transformation, accelerated by the COVID-19 pandemic and changing consumer preferences. Data science and ML are strong investments across all areas. For the most part, these sectors will not play a significant role in creating and developing AI hardware or platforms, but will instead help scale up the adoption of AI technologies, such as CV, conversational platforms, and smart robots.
