Restaurant company Hungry Jack's is set to launch two new additions to its menu – a new ice cream and a shake - in Australia.

From tomorrow, it is launching Cosmic Storm ice cream and Space Shake, reported The Australian.

The Cosmic Storm features soft serve ice cream topped with a ‘cosmic flavoured syrup’ and a sprinkle of popping candy.

The Space Shake blends the syrup and popping candy into Hungry Jack's traditional shake, thereby presenting a striking purple colour.

Hungry Jack's marketing director Luke Pavan was quoted by the media outlet as saying: “The craveable Cosmic flavour and popping candy mixed with our delicious soft serve is bound to take our guests’ tastebuds on a wild adventure to outer space.

“The Cosmic Storm and Space Shake are a sensory experience from the moment you see it to the time you savour the flavour with the popping sensation in your mouth.

“I recommend having some fun with it and giving the Cosmic flavour a good stir-through to create your own Galactic-inspired Storm.”

Earlier this month, Hungry Jack’s introduced new limited-time Mexican Whoper and Mexican Jack’s Fried Chicken burgers.

The Mexican Whopper comprises a flame-grilled Aussie beef patty, topped with spicy tomato relish, crispy bacon, corn chips and jalapenos. It is served on a toasted bun.

The Mexican Jack’s Fried Chicken burger features Mexican-inspired flavours.

Hungry Jack’s chief marketing officer Scott Baird said: “The Mexican Whopper and Mexican Jack’s Fried Chicken bring together the best of both worlds, classic Hungry Jack’s favourites with an exciting, Mexican-inspired twist.”
